Join us on August 17 at 6:30 PM for a panel on the challenges people being released from jail and prison face during the COVID pandemic. Moderated by club member and Founder of Pacific Reentry Career Services, Stephanie Hammerwold, the panel will feature Romarilyn Ralston, the Director of Project Rebound at Cal State Fullerton; Steve Kim, Executive Director of Project Kinship; and Meghan Medlin, CEO at Medlin Workforce & Reentry Solutions. You will learn about ways you can get involved in advocating for the currently and formerly incarcerated, including easy things you can do from home.

This meeting is open to all members and non-member registered Democrats, but advance registration is required.
Also: We’ll be hearing from Shani Moselhi, candidate for Laguna Niguel City Council and voting on whether to support her this year. We’ll also vote on a bylaws amendment and discuss whether to take a position on ballot proposition 24.
