Candidates for 2020 ANDC Board

Chair

Michael Sall

It has been my pleasure to chair the Aliso Niguel Democratic Club this past year. I am proud to have overseen, with the help of our board, the club’s first dedicated fundraisers, the expansion of our membership, and the launch of our neighborhood canvassing program, which has over 50 members and allies speaking to their neighbors in advance of the 2020 elections. This next year, I look forward to continuing these efforts, and finding creative ways to get involved in swing state Presidential and Senate races, in addition to running engaging monthly meetings that keep us informed and active. Thank you for your support.

Vice Chair

Michelle Antenesse

I have been involved with ANDC since the summer of 2017 and served as Secretary and interim Vice Chair in 2018. In January of 2019 I was elected Vice Chair and am now seeking a second term. We have done important work this term to setup us up for the work to come in 2020. This includes organizing fundraising events, beginning canvassing work, making important early endorsements for local candidates, and educating our members and our fellow Democrats on the voting changes in Orange County. I look forward to continuing to organize to elect Democrats up and down the ballot this fall.

Treasurer

Diane Groh

I could tell you that I’ve always been interested in managing money, but that isn’t true. What is true is that I was a CPA. I spent several years conducting audits of non-profit agencies so I understand the importance of accountability in checks and balances in the treasurer’s position.

I believe we all need to do what we can to ensure the club’s success. I am asking for your support so that I might do my part by serving as your treasurer.

Secretary

Megan Holland

I am so proud of all the wonderful things we have accomplished as a club over the past year. It has been my honor to serve as Secretary and be part of the club leadership. I would like to continue to serve our membership as Secretary and look for additional ways for us to get involved in our community over the coming year.
